Alan Gebert has been driving a 1991 Geo Metro for nearly 35 years. That’s almost three times as long as the brand Geo was around to begin with. So that alone is pretty impressive. Safe to say that car doesn’t owe Alan a thing. So when the car finally stopped running earlier this year, Alan concocted a plan.

Gebert grows giant pumpkins. So what better way to send the Metro over the rainbow bridge than by dropping a 2,000 pound pumpkin on to it? Perfect, right?
