At the 2025 Masters, golf legends turned out for all the festivities to offer their career and life advice to the current crop of PGA hopefuls.
Legends like 89-year-old Gary Player offered some perspective that may have seemed a little dark on the surface but was wholesome and honest.
He started by responding to a question about Tiger Woods eating Arby’s, to which he answered that he still refuses to eat fast food. He then transitioned into talking about how love is precious and – brace yourself – either you or your spouse is going to kick the bucket first.
Yep, he said that with the cheerful honesty of a wise old man who’s seen it all. His overall message turned out to be beautiful. Reminding us to not waste time, to hug your loved ones, to take care of your body, and for goodness’ sake, skip the fries.
