Alec Baldwin Dismissed of Charges in Shooting on the Set of ‘Rust’

It’s been a rough few years for Alec Baldwin following the 2021 shooting on the set of the film “Rust.”

On that day Baldwin, seemingly unbeknownst to him, fired a live round from a revolver that was supposed to be used as a prop. The bullet hit cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and she did not survive.

For the past three years, that huge legal cloud has been hanging over Baldwin as he and his team try to prove his innocence in the unfortunate incident.

Finally, on July 12th, a manilla envelope with additional evidence changed everything and Baldwin’s motion to dismiss his manslaughter charges was granted.
