Birds & Baseball: Springfield Cardinals Game Delayed by Dilly Dallying Ducks

Fans at a minor league baseball game were left quacking up when a pair of ducks waddled their way onto the field and delayed play for quite some time.

The Springfield Cardinals’ announcers definitely had a lot of fun giving play-by-play for this duck couple as they made their way around the field and in front of the dugout while the DJ played the “Duck Tales” theme song for fans.

Thankfully, there was no fowl play needed to capture the feathered friends and they were safely guided away. No word on if they were able to find either a lemonade stand or some grapes in the concourse.
