Chilean Beauty Pageant Contestant Busts Out Death Metal Vocals for Talent Competition

Ignacia Fernandez, a 27-year-old model and beauty-pageant finalist in Chile, is also the vocalist for death-metal band, Decessus.

When it came time for the talent portion of the Miss World Chile 2025 semi-finals, Fernandez decided the runway wasn’t nearly loud enough. Wearing an elegant, floor-length black gown, she and her bandmates ripped into a guttural anthem complete with thunderous roars and filthy riffs.

With a bold, beautiful hybrid of glamor and growl, she advanced to the finals and made damn sure beauty pageants will never be the same again.
