Lately, the amount of times we stop and think “huh, sounds like a ‘Black Mirror’ episode” and this game show that aired in the Netherlands made history as one of the “most unethical” shows in existence seems ripped straight from the show’s plot lines.

The show, “Donor Show” was one in which three contestants competed for their lives, one wins and the other two will perish after they lose.

In the episode, a terminally ill woman will be donating her kidney to one of the three contestants who are each in dire need of it.

However, there is a twist revealed at the end that actually ended up benefitting 10’s of thousands of people.
