CrowdStrike Accepts 2024 Pwnie Award for ‘Most Epic Fail’

Remember that global IT outage last month that lead to ground stoppages at airports leaving Hot Wings at the Atlanta airport for over 24 hours?

Well, it was CrowdStrike that was behind it all when they pushed out an update to their security software, causing 8.5 million Windows computers to crash.

That's why when it came time for the 2024 Pwnie Awards at the Def Con hacking conference, CrowdStrike accepted the award for the "Most Epic Fail." President Michael Sentonas actually accepted the award in person and delivered a pretty good speech about it all.
