Dad Treks 30 Miles Through Flood Debris to Walk Daughter Down the Aisle
As Hurricane Helene has caused flooding and destruction across the southeastern U.S. this dad was still determined to make it to his little girl's big day.
David Jones, from South Carolina, walked 30 miles in Tennessee over the weekend, climbing over tons of debris, navigating roads that are either blocked off or simply don't exist anymore to be able to walk his daughter down the aisle.
It was supposed to be a two-hour drive, but David made the trek by driving for seven hours by car and making it another five and a half hours on foot. He made it in time to get cleaned up and be there for the ceremony.
