Do You Know What Happened to Marty McFly’s Guitar? Gibson Could Use Your Help

Ever wonder what happened to Marty McFly’s guitar from “Back to the Future”? So does Gibson Guitars!

That’s why they have launched a search for the cherry red ES-345 that Michael J. Fox played two songs on that has been missing since 1985 when the movie came out.

Michael J. Fox and the other movie’s stars are helping to find it, but Gibson has also shared a poster-style graphic with information on how to submit tips on the whereabouts of the guitar, complete with a phone number.

Eventually, if or when the guitar is found, this whole journey will be featured in an upcoming documentary the legendary company is calling “Lost to the Future.”
