Dolly Parton & Mötley Crüe Reimagine ‘Home Sweet Home’ for Charity
What do you get when you pair an angel of a woman with the folks behind the song “Shout at the Devil”? Apparently a beautiful new version of a bona-fide hit.
Recently, Dolly Parton teamed up with Mötley Crüe for a re-recording of the band’s song “Home Sweet Home” to raise money for Covenant House, a charity that helps youth experiencing homelessness.
Now, the band did not re-record the song, but Dolly did add her own vocals to the original track that was recorded 40 years ago (feel old?) in 1985.
The song is now available ad the final track on the band’s upcoming album, an updated collection of their best songs, titled “From the Beginning”, to be released September 12th.
