Drunk Designated Driver Tells Police He Was His Friend’s ‘DUI’ For the Night

New Year's Eve is obviously a huge night for DUI investigations and while some people at least try to talk their way out of it, this guy never stood a chance.

Not even an hour into the new year, this guy got stopped after cops were suspicious he may be drunk. He told officers he was his buddy's "DUI" for the night when he meant to say "DD" (AKA "Designated Driver").

Right there, officers put him through the tests that he (spoiler alert) ultimately failed after he admitted he had some beer and champagne earlier in the night.
