Florida Panthers Defeat Edmonton Oilers in Game Seven of Stanley Cup Championship

In what was already a historic matchup in the Stanley Cup Finals being the longest distance between the final two teams, the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers, we finally got to see Lord Stanley's Cup hoisted high on American soil to finish out the 2023-2024 season.

Early on in the series the Panthers had a three-to-none lead on the Oilers only for Edmonton to come all the way back to force last night’s exciting game seven.

The Panthers held on to win at home, 2 to 1 in the team’s first championship in their 30 years of existence.
