Forget the Chicago Rat Hole, the Brooklyn Fire Hydrant Aquarium is Where It’s At
If there's one thing people love, it's gathering over something weird happening on the street.
Last year, it was the "Chicago Rat Hole" where a dead rat was paved over, leaving a rat-shaped hole when it was removed. People gathered, decorated, and even got married at the infamous hole.
Now, someone in New York has put a bunch of goldfish in a puddle under a leaky fire hydrant, creating a makeshift aquarium that the locals are loving it!
The city says the leaky hydrant can cause issues, especially in case of a fire, and keep turning it off only for it to be turned back on by folks who want the fish to thrive.
