Giants Kicker Younghoe Koo Introduces NFL’s Newest Trick Play: The Worm Burner
A young Younghoe Koo of the New York Giants squared up for what seemed like a routine, 46-yard kick against the New England Patriots.
However, he must have watched a lot of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” over the holiday as he somehow manages to absolutely whiff, not the kick, but the ball.
Instead of sending the pigskin soaring through the uprights, Koo planted his toe in the turf, missed the ball entirely, like a good old chunk shot in golf.
The saddest part? The attempt didn’t even count as a miss in the box score and was, instead, ruled a turnover.
Of course in-game announcers, as well as the Manningcast featuring Danny Devito, couldn’t hold back their reactions and laughter as this blooper climbs the ranks of the NFL’s greatest “what the hell was even that” moments.
