Idiots For Underdogs: Alice Needs A Hearing Aid

Last week, Patti emailed us to tell us about her friend Alice. Alice lives in the apartment complex that Patti manages. Alice is an older woman and, like with lots of people when they get older, her hearing has degraded over time. It’s gotten so bad that Alice has missed Meals on Wheels deliveries, something she depends on, because she was unable to hear the doorbell when the delivery arrived.

Many of the other residents of the apartment complex have stepped in to help Alice with everyday tasks that she’s struggling with to help her get by. This seemed like a great place for Idiots for Underdogs to step in.

This morning, we got Patti on the phone to let her know that Idiots for Underdogs would be picking up the $4,500 tab for a new hearing aid for Alice! If you missed that moment on the show this morning, you can watch it below!
