Another day, another song re-made to sound like a different genre or a different singer except this time, it makes us a little sad it’s not real.
ReGrooved shared on YouTube a “dark country” version of the Phil Collins song “In the Air Tonight” in which the vocals you hear sound like if someone like Jelly Roll did it.
While Chris Stapleton already has a version of it with Snoop Dogg that is pretty fantastic, what does this mean for music moving forward?
Is it a good way for artists to see what’s possible before they record “real” versions or do they just cut the humanity out of it completely?
