Is This Suzanne Somers A.I. Robot Creepy or Kind of Sweet?
When you die, would you want your partner to keep your memory alive by making an A.I. robot “twin” of you?
That’s what Suzanne Somers’ husband, Alan Hamel, did after she passed away in October of 2023. He teamed up with the Robotix company to make the robot that mimics both her voice and speech patterns as it learned from recordings and footage of her.
Recently, Hamel and the team behind the bot presented it at an event with mixed reactions as it looks NOTHING like her. Hamel claims it was actually her idea and he has a “long-range plan” to get permission to get a John Ritter version made and do some “additional episodes” of “Three’s Company”.
Just let people rest in peace, man…there’s a whole “Black Mirror” episode on why this kind of thing is a BAD idea.
