Air Canada Passenger’s Missing Suitcase Returned With Unsettling Mystery Items Inside
Imagine an airline loses your suitcase, or at least leaves it behind, and when you get it back, all your own items that were once inside are missing and are replaced with the ultimate unsolicited grab-bag.
That’s what happened to this Newfoundland, Canada woman, Linda Royle, whose bag was returned to her by the folks at Air Canada, but her belongings were gone and in their place were items like a retractable knife, random toiletries and a ticket/boarding pass scanning gadget.
Royle, the most Canadian-sounding woman, has since had to put up a bit of a fight with the airline as Air Canada says if the contents of your bag value over $350, you need reciepts to prove the items are yours or no reimbursement for you.
After CBC News pushed the issue further with Air Canada, they are now revisiting Royle’s claim.
