Musician Sophie Powers Auditions for ‘American Idol’ With Interesting Song Choice

We’ve seen plenty of interesting auditions over the course of the show’s 23 seasons. From the “pants on the ground” guy to William Hung’s “She Bangs” and more, there have been countless people that became an “idol” in their own right…but maybe didn’t get that coveted ticket to Hollywood.

Now we’re pretty sure this young woman, Sophie Powers, is there to joke around because she is already an active, touring musician but that doesn’t make this song and the judges’ reactions any less real…and really funny.
