Ohio Teacher Faces Trespassing Charge After Showing Up Unannounced at Student’s Home
When we first saw this headline, we thought “surely this is a case of parents overreacting. No teacher would be dumb enough to do this” but we were 100% wrong.
A Perrysburg, Ohio teacher, William Hilt took checking homework to a whole new level by allegedly tailing a student’s school bus straight to her house. His mission? To confirm she completed her assignment so the class could earn a pizza party.
Unfortunately, the parents didn’t appreciate the unannounced “pop quiz” at their doorstep and called the cops.
Hilt now faces a criminal trespassing charge, has been placed on administrative leave, and probably won’t be invited to any future pizza parties—unless they’re hosted by his lawyer.
