Police Nab First ‘Super Speeder’ Minutes After New Florida Law Goes Into Effect
When you think of “speeding” you typically think of people going 5-10 miles per hour over the speed limit, but how would you define a “super speeder”?
In Florida, not only did they define the term, but they just added a new law to help curb it.
Apparently, Florida’s new “super speeder” law makes it so anyone caught driving over 100 miles an hour, lands in jail for 30 days. Turns out, it’s pretty effective as just two minutes after it went into effect, a guy got caught driving 104 down the highway in Orange County.
The law also targets folks who try driving over 50 miles per hour over posted limits, so all you Fast & Furious wannabes should probably chill out.
