Pregnant Woman in Runaway Car Saved by Illinois Deputies

It's a nightmare situation for anyone, but especially for a pregnant woman, being stuck in a runaway car, completely unable to stop.

The woman was driving along when suddenly the brakes stopped working and she was unable to turn off the engine. As she is on the phone with 911, she explains to them that she cannot stop, to which the operator lets her know that the police are aware.

Quick-thinking cops were able to get in front of her and stop her from speeding down a dead-end road toward a freezing lake.

There were no injuries and even the police cruiser that was hit only sustained minor damage.
