Fake Tunes: What Would Rush’s ‘Tom Sawyer’ Sound Like as a Funk Song?

It’s one of the few good uses of artificial intelligence, re-imagining classic songs in new, genre-bending ways!

YouTube channel Fake Tunes has carved out quite a space for themselves when it comes to this and one of their latest releases, “Tom Sawyer” by RUSH reimagined as a funk song, actually kind of slaps.

If you didn’t know it was A.I. you would definitely think it was a real funk band covering the song!

While we don’t think the members of RUSH would be too pleased with the way this track came to be, we also can’t say Geddy Lee wouldn’t be strutting and grooving just a little bit.
