A Florida man went full cartoon villain by swiping dozens of Smokey Bear signs from forests across Florida, then tried to sell them online like rare collectibles on Facebook Marketplace.

From Orlando to Pensacola, this guy was swiping wildfire prevention signs and putting them up on marketplace for $1,900 apiece.

His crime spree went up in smoke when he was caught in the act.

Officers made the arrest and they made sure to show that if you really want the smoke, you get Smokey!

Yes, apparently Smokey can also make citizen’s arrests.
