When has anyone ever been soothed in a stressful situation by someone singing, let alone singing the wrong lyrics to a beloved classic?

We can assure you the first time definitely was not on this Allegiant flight leaving Huntington Airport in West Virginia.

As passengers boarded the flight, the temperature in the cabin was climbing as folks began finding their seats and roasting in the 90-degree heat until after takeoff.

Understanding that folks on the plane may be feeling a bit uncomfortable, one of the flight attendants took it upon herself to serenade them with an acapella version of a West Virginia favorite, John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads”.

She gets the lyrics wrong and the whole scene is a bit ridiculous, as seen from these young ladies’ perspective.
