THROWBACK: How Women in the 1940’s Handled Menstruation
We've come a long way in understanding women's health and while we've still got a ways to go, we can be thankful that it's not quite like this.
Basically, if you were someone who menstruated in the 1940's, you were basically told "suck it up ya little ketchup packet" and expected to go about your day.
It was all very condescending, but was somehow made cute by little animations of dancing ladies and horseback riding.
