THROWBACK: The World’s Tallest Donkey Stands 17-Hands Tall

We know what you're thinking, "that sure is a lot of ass!" which is why we like to look back at it.

About 11 years ago, in 2013, we were introduced to a Texas donkey named Romulus who was believed to be the world's tallest donkey.

Romulus, standing five feet, eight inches, was described as being "17 hands" tall which apparently, for reference, is four inches, and when measured from hoof to highest part of its shoulder, it takes about 17 of them.
