Woman Air-Drops Frozen Turkeys to Folks in Alaska’s Most Rural Areas
Do you ever wonder how people in some of the remote corners of the United States celebrate Thanksgiving when they live so far from any grocery stores?
This woman in Alaska took it upon herself to make sure her neighbors who live pretty "off the grid" could still have turkeys on Thanksgiving.
As roads were inaccessible, she couldn't drive the frozen birds to anyone, so she air-dropped them as she flew by in her plane!
Apparently this beautiful pilot, Esther Sanderlin, has done this for three years now! Not all heroes wear capes.
