Hi Idiots.

Many things can lead us to get caught up in our day-to-day lives, especially those of us with children. Sometimes it can get tiring when it seems like you're stuck in a routine, or an extended period of ups and downs where things begin to drag. It's times like these when the littlest of things can bring the most joy.

Maybe it's someone who pays for your food at the drive-through, or someone gets the door for you when you need it. It's those little unexpected moments that can have a huge impact. That's why, throughout this month, we'll be hearing from each show member and learning about the little things that bring them the most happiness.

We've already heard from Free Beer about the thing that makes his day, and we've heard what makes Hot Wings' tummy happy. Now we'll hear from Maitlynn about how nice it is to be noticed somewhere you don't expect.

Becoming A Regular and Feeling Acknowledged

Have you ever been to a coffee shop or a bar, and someone remembers your order?

Something small that brightens my day is when the staff at any restaurant/store/coffee shop/etc. that I frequent remembers me! It’s such a special feeling like, “wow out of all the people you interact with on the daily, you remember ME!?”

On top of that, we all work hard in our day-to-day, and sometimes you get little acknowledgement. When we're told we did a good job, it can mean the world.

I’m also a huge words of affirmation person, so anything that lets me know someone thinks I did a good job or is proud of me or just likes me in general is always a good lil booster too
