New Documentary Dives Into the Downfall of Brett Favre

Once the NFL’s golden boy, Brett Favre now stars in a new Netflix doc, seemingly as the villain.

The documentary, set to drop on May 20th, explores Favre’s fall from football fame and public favor through his early-career substance abuse issues, the infamous explicit messages sent to Jenn Sterger as well as allegations of Favre’s involvement in embezzling welfare funds from Mississippi’s poorest communities.

With audio of voicemails and a deep dive into these scandals, the documentary paints a stark contrast between Favre’s on-field heroics and off-field controversies. We are sure he is not entirely too happy about this one.
