Tommy and Maitlynn’s Favorite Thrift Shop Finds
Hi Idiots.
When was the last time you bought clothes brand-new? As in, tags still on it, you're the first person to wear it, etc. If you're like me and Maitlynn, it doesn't happen all that often because we're big-time thrifters and antique shop visitors. That phrase "one man's trash is another man's treasure" is a very true statement, and we're walking proof of this.
Maitlynn's outfits are incredibly iconic, and she comes in rocking something extraordinary at every live show and for the webcams. I'm not on Maitlynn's level by any means, but I go thrifting all the time and like to think I've accumulated some pretty cool things, too. But we're both going to flex our favorite finds with you right now.
Maitlynn
- I found this George Carlin record at my favorite antique store in Downtown Jackson, the Jackson Antique Mall. It still plays pretty perfectly AND closes out with his "Filthy Words" bit!
- An artist with a booth at an antique store in Waterford, MI, takes vintage dishes and puts funny/profane things on them. It's so beautiful.
- Lastly, my dresser is one of my most prized possessions. My mom and I found it on FB Marketplace. One time, when we were moving, someone stopped us and pointed out that it was somewhat of a rare find, created by a pretty iconic company/designer. I can't quite remember who or what it was, but I credit this piece for sparking my love of Mid-Century Modern design!
- Then these outfits are also some of my Night Show favorites, and they were all entirely thrifted!

These are my three favorite shirts that I've discovered over the last couple of years, with the green acid-wash shirt being my latest find, which I can't get enough of. The purple/green/white shirt was the one I wore for my Live Show debut. Meanwhile, the purple courody features Winnie the Pooh and Tigger on a fall day, and it is so cozy; I love the color.

I also included some of the art I've found that I like! A handmade Midsommar (A24 movie) item, a black and white photo of nuns smoking cigarettes (Religious irony has become one of my favorite aesthetics), and a framed picture of a Van Gogh painting.
